The APRIL assists series will be based on the sequence that will be taught in class that month. It will be predominantly practical with a review of principles as we move through the proposed assists to be time “wise”. Please be aware that there are naturally different variations/approaches possible and depending on each student’s capacity. We will endeavour to be comprehensive but mainly effective in grounding. The objective is to explore and share with participants the foundations of how I would approach the bulk of the asanas based on what has been gleaned over two decades of full-time teaching experience. Most importantly, we will reinforce the intention with hands on assists to facilitate in deepening the student’s own awareness, to be self-sufficient students and not teacher dependent. If time is available on Sunday, we can explore other asanas within this genre. The schedule may seem intense but it’s intended to make use of being warmed up straight after the class. Sound good? Registration is now open.
